The owner was really really nice and is a former science teacher so he was great with both the kids and the adults. I have learned more from spending an hour hear than I have from any museum I have been to. Everything is labeled and categorized so you never have to ask a lot of questions. They also do lapidary and have a wealth of knowledge about rock-hounding in the area. A MUST if you are in New Hampshire and are into rocks!! There is parking right outside the door which is really handy. North Conway is a very touristy town so it can be very busy!
